New MGR V8 to hire in Lincolnshire

Great Escape Classic Car Hire has added a MGR V8 convertible to its fleet in Lincolnshire. Just 1,892 of these cars were built by MG in the mid 1990s and this car is thought to be the 50th from last ever made. So its a fitting way to celebrate 50 years of the iconic MGB iin 2012.
The MGR V8 is arguably the ultimate MGB. Featuring modified MGB bodywork, sumptuous leather interior and a throaty 3.9 litre V8 engine, it was built to be what the MGB would have become if it had remained in production for another 15 years. The car is available to hire by the day, weekend or week on a self drive basis from our site near Grantham, ideally located for access from the M1 and for access to the Peak District and Lincolnshire Wolds.
The Great Escape car is finished in British Racing Green with a cream leather interior and has a manual gearbox. It has a watertight convertible soft top roof and a reasonable size boot. It is a strict two seater.
"The MGR V8 is arguably the ultimate MGB," explains Graham Eason of Great Escape. "We now have the widest range of MG cars for hire anywhere in the world, with 8 cars available to hire from our sites across the UK."
